You read it here first: Riverview Waterworld unlikely to reopen?

Received from Riverview Park and Waterworld just today, a response to an e-mail sent them en bloc in connexion with Another of My Online Ventures in weblog form:

Hi Larry,
I just wanted to let you know that as of now, Waterworld will not be
opening next year. There is a possibility of the go-carts opening, but
nothing is for sure yet.

Some of you will recall where, just before the star-crossed 2008 season as saw Lake Delton drained dry for a season, the owners of The Wonder Spot in Lake Delton announced that the 2007 season was the last therefor after 59 such; its closing having been necessitated by road works cutting into the property.
